Can anyone tell me what "baron" means? Is this some kind of dominican slang word?

do you mean VARON? this means MALE, or refers to something masculine, but technically used more to say/refer to the male gender.
i.e. ese varon = that male
esa hembra = that female

forgot to inform you that VARON is not a slang word, it is a common word in the spanish language. now whether it is used in some sort of slang in DR I dont know....anyone here know?

This word is frecuently used in the saint bible as " God's son " this is the reason for Christian dominican people " evangelicos " to use this word in their conversation.

Well, you guys are right, but what if the person actually meant barón? In this case, it would be Baron as in the royal title.

Otherwise, varón means male, and we use it to say 'guy' or 'male'.
