How does one say "even steven" (ie. favors by two parties cancel any debt) in Spanish?

Los favores se cancelan, se recompensan or se quedan igual????

the best way to say it is "estamos a mano"

you can also say estamos empate.

empatao or empatado means tied as in a race or competition.

MOST Dominicans would say, "etamo en pa" I don't know if this means -estamos en paz (we're at peace) o estamso empatado (we're even).

CHip I would usually say - Po estamos en pa? answer, si etamo en pa.

pero pa quedar mas claros, since spanish is not your first language its always best to be clear and say something like........estamos bien, ni yo te debo ni tu me debes.? tamo en pa.

I am not sure there is an equivalent, but this advice seems to be the best. You can find a colloquialism and then just add an explanation in "regular" Spanish.

But from talking with some of my cousins I have heard these:

'Tamos iguales
'Ta Nulo
Estamos Bien (if the conversation is in context)
Sin duda o deuda (without doubt or debt)
Dejalo asi (leave it be)
Estamos claro
Sali de ti (I don't have to deal with you anymore)


These are just a few I have heard in passing.

Most Dominicans will say, "etamo en pate" NOT "etamo en pa".

We Dominicans say, "Ven pa' ca" instead of "Ven para aca", But never "etamo en pa", that sound french to me.

Spanish is not the native language of some posters in this thread. I can see how sentence construction are backwards.

Same way I do in English....
