Take out/take away

Buenas tardes. Hope you can help me.

How do you say you want to order a meal "to take away" with you?

For example, "I want to order a pizza to take with me", not eat in the restaurant. Not sure if the online translators I'm using are correct.

I understand in the DR they say "take away" not "take out" or "to go" like we do in NA.

None of the online and book resources I have cover the take out and delivery of meals.

You can say that the food is "para llevar."

Another question if I may?

At a deli, I usually buy 10 slices of ham or salami. Is it possible in the DR to ask for a certain number of slices of deli meat, instead of getting it by weight? The pre-packaged deli meats tend to be a bit more expensive, and not always available. I normally shop at Janet's in Cabarete.

Is this correct: "Quisiera diez rebanadas de jamón/salmi, por favor." I'm not sure if "rebanadas" is the correct word to use in this context.

You will still have to pay slices by weight

you can tell them to give you 10 slices, and yes rebanadas is the right word. then they will weight it.
