Default Spanish Translation

Hi, i've got a book called "Drown" by Junot Diaz from my school library because im half dominican and i wanted to find out about my culture more.
and i was wondering if anyone can translate things words for me so i can understand the book alot better.

colmado
tio
tia
barbacco
campo
ocoa
chinga
jurones
jaives
chocha
toto
la muda
el cuco
vieja calusa
cobrador
la chica de lo novela
pato

i somewhat have a clue of most the words are but i just wanna make sure, btw these are dominican words somewhat.

ocoa this is a town. San Jose de Ocoa
chinga this is more mexican, means F**k
jurones a kind of rodent
jaives jaivas? crabs
chocha more puertorican and anything else, but female body part
toto dominican for the above
la muda the mute, as in can't speak
el cuco boogie man
vieja calusa must be some kind of mystical being like boogie man
cobrador fare colector
la chica de lo novela the girl from the soap opera
pato duck or gay
