Adding to my post above:

"Vehicular" (to serve as a vehicle)

Verb "vehicular" is not used in the DR. Journalists might use it, but in daily speech peole do stay away from it.

The DR uses the word as adjective: Tráfico vehicular.

I wonder how often it is used as a verb in other Spanish-speaking countries.
