I would be greatful if anyone could offer information on transportation between Santiago and Dajabon. How long does it take? Are there buses? Guaguas?

Gracias

Transporte Espinal is one that travels that way.
809 575 7619, if memory serves--it's in the book..I just checked and that's the right number.

Squat
Wake up early, and get on the following bus : "Expresso Liniero", that drives from Santiago to Dajabon. Ask for the express one, so it doesn't stop along the way. It take about 2 hours and 30 mn...

I found the previous on a thread entitled "Haiti from Santiago? 26?". Is it still valid? We'll be arriving to STI around 10:30 AM, does this bus run more than once/day? And we'll be arriving on Holy Saturday. Should that affect finding transportation?

Gracias,
Capitan

Default Caribe Tours goes to Dajabon

Caribe Tours stops in Santiago (Las Colinas terminal) on the way from Santo Domingo to Dajabon. I don't know their schedule from Santiago, from SD there are 3 buses in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.
Check the Caribe Tours terminal in Santiago 576-0790

Is the Las Colinas station the one on Maimon and 27 de Febrero? Or are those two different stations?

No, that's the other one in Los Jardines, perhaps you can take the Dajabon guagua there too, don't know.
Las Colinas is the bigger terminal on 27 de Febrero and Las Americas to the North of town.
