Arrow Stand-by Travel

Thanks for everyone's responses.

The problem that I have is that I will be travelling on stand-by (so there has to be empty seats on the plane before I can get on.). Risky way to travel.

There is a flight that leaves from POP at 11:55am, so I would like to try and see if I can get on that flight. IF I can't, then my next option would be to go to Santo Domingo.

So I figure that if I am at the airport in POP at 10:00-10:30am or so, I will know if I will make that flight or have to go to "plan B" (Santo Domingo).

It is a stressful situation....
I wonder if because the day I will be leaving will be a Saturday, if I will save some time on the roads because there might be less traffic??
Maybe that's just hopefull thinking......

I don't think you can plan on getting a bus from downtown POP to SD before noon if you plan on being in POP airport until 10:30. If you take the noon bus you will be in downtown SD after 4:00. Plan another hour to get to SDQ. Then hope there is an empty seat on the SDQ flight? I think you need to take one shot or the other.
