I would like to know what is the cheapest way to get from Santiago into Santo Domingo. Is it Caribe Tours? Transporte Espinal? Does anyone know the fare?
Transporte Espinal is the cheapest, but their buses are famous for only getting to Bonao before breaking down. Aetra Bus is another cheap one.
Pay RD$200 and travel in comfort on Metro or Caribe Tours.
Nice guy like you could always hitchhike to Santo Domingo...
When something costs six bucks a lot of comparison shopping is time well wasted.
but just for kicks, I'll say that the answer to the question "what is the cheapest way?" is the same as always........ gua gua! Probably about 2 or 3 bucks, but like rick said, for another 3 you can ride in AC comfort on Caribe Tours, so why mess with that?
