Sosua to La Romana

Any recommendations on the best way to go? I live in Sosua, a friend is visiting a hotel in La Romana for a week. I would love to visit for a few days.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Caribe Tours to Santo Domingo, then guaguas to La Romana, should take approx. 7 hours.
PS: There may be airplane service, but I'm not sure.

So if Sosua to La Romana by Caribe tours takes about 7 hours, how long do you think it would take if we are driving? We will make a few pit stops but otherwise direct from POP to La Romana.
