By the Caretera Turistica, it's 66 km, then you would have to add on the distance from Santiago to STI airport, maybe another 25 km.

1 hour 30 minutes, $80 US by taxi.
We do have one driver with whom you can reserve ahead who will do it for $70 US.

Depending on your arrival time and how much baggage you have, I would suggest a taxi to the main Caribe Bus Terminal in Santiago, then take the bus. They are air conditioned and very comfortable. Costs somewhere in the neighborhood of US $8/10. Taxi from the bus station on the other end can't be that much on into Sosua.

D&D have it right. Taxis into town from the airport are about RD$500 pesos or with an English speaking driver US$20 dollars. (Send a note to palomalinda0890@hotmail.com for a pick up and transfer to Sosúa for US$70 dollars)

The D&D suggestion is just a bit longer, and it is more interesting since you will be interacting with the "Locals" ..And you can get a cold beer at the bus terminal for about US$1.50....

Since you get in early enough, there will be plenty of time to do this.
