Here's a thread that deals with parking at SDQ. It says parking is $520RD per week.

From your OP it sounds like you have your own car there, in which case the choice is between $16 for parking plus gas money as opposed to $360 (or thereabouts) for a round trip cab fare. If you live there and drive anyway, it would seem like a "no-brainer" to me! The drive from POP to SDQ is about 4 hours, and much of it is on the Autopista Duarte, which is a 4 lane, limited access highway, and not that much different from driving on a first world interstate. The bad part is that there is no bypass for either Santiago or the Capital, and you will need to negotiate your way through both cities. The turnoffs are a lot better marked than they used to be, and if you keep a sharp eye you can pretty much get there by following the signs. Of course your other option, if schedule allows, is to take the bus to Santo Domingo and a cab to the airport, which would be about $40 each way.

why not just take one of those big caribe tours a/c buses??? they cost less than 20 bucks, and from what i hear, they are super comfy.
