Default Santiago Airport to Santo Domingo

Visiting this fall and would like to know the driving distance from the airport in Santiago to Santo Domingo? Or what about a taxi for the same trip, what would the cost be?

leave airport to main road make a left and in about an hour and a half you will be in the capital. If this is your first time i would suggest taking a taxi to caribe tours or metro tours and take the bus to the capital in comfort and safety.I personally like the drive but hate driving in the capital, its worse than the traffic in NYC.

Your ideal solution would be to take a taxi to Santiago Metro or Caribe Tours station and a nice bus to Santo Domingo. Leave the driving to THEM!!

You save money, get to see the sights and relax a bit!!

In terms of distance, Santiago proper is around 90 miles / 155 kilometers from Santo Domingo.

The airport is a few miles / kilometers to the east of Santiago.

The entire ride should take from 1.5 to 2 hours, depending how fast you drive.

Have a nice trip!
