Cost of cab to Las Terrenas from STI

hi all,
What's the cost of a taxi for two people from sti to las terrenas? (Yep, I'm aware of the inexpensive carib tours bus from santo domingo to sanchez and then a guagua from sanchez to las terrenas.)

I've searched the boards and don't think this has been asked/answered before.

two of you can fly there for about same price and take 25 minuets...

$130 is about right for a taxi to LT. Taxi fare for our guests from STI to Las Galeras (another hour further than the LT cutoff in Sanchez) is currently $150usd. My latest quote (just 3 weeks ago) from Century Air for a Cessna 172 from La Isabella airport in Santo Domingo to Samana's Arroyo Barrill airport (which is about the same distance/time as Sti to LT's el Portillo airstrip) is $230usd and if you are arriving STI in the wee hours and looking to continue on via a small plane at night, forget it.
