from PUJ airport to La Romana at night

Hello,
I will be arriving on 22nd December at Punta Cana airport around 9 pm.
What are my options to get the same night to La Romana?
Are there any buses at night? Are the car rental agencies still open?

This could be a bit tricky. By 9pm almost no buses are running and the car rentals are usually closed. However, there always are taxis running. PM me if you want me to get you an option. I personally would recommend travelling the next day...

Hi Kate,

A couple of years ago I had Taxi Beron pick me up at PUJ airport to take me to Higuey. Man, did that cause a row with the airport taxi drivers... Politur had to intervene and only when I could show Beron's phone number in my agenda did they let us break through the taxi blocade. Any other option is always welcome.
