caribe bus tours

any advise on this bus tour, is it safe to take from Santo Domingo Airport to Puerto Plata.

yes anitadiaz it's safe, inexpensive, generally ontime and efficient. i've taken caribe tours many times and it the best mode of transport for me.

Caribe Tours doesn't serve the airport, though. You'll have to take a cab to the station in Santo Domingo for about 30 dollars.

Real Funny....I'm trying to find the safest and best way to get to puerto plata from the air port in santo domingo, any helpful information is greatly appreciated.

Not to worry. Take a cab to either the Metro or the Caribe Tours depot and take a bus to Puerto Plata from there. I like Metro, they have better equipment and better maintenence. They are punctual.

According to the rumor mill, that bus was hit by stones that distracted the driver, causing the accidentl. No serious injuries...

Thanks for the advice, how safe would it be if I rented a car from the airport and just followed the bus into puerto plata?

You will first have to figure how to get from the car rental into SD to find the bus station.
If you survive that, and you try to follow the bus to POP and can keep pace with the busk you don't belong behind the wheel.
