Default Arrival to SDQ at 5:00am and traveling to Sosua

Hi All,

Just wanted to get some input on arriving to santo domingo at 5 in the morning and how hard is it to get to the Caribe tours bus depot. Is the best way via taxi and if so how much should it cost? Also, what about safety around the airport at that time of day?

Thanks for the input!

Nick

The best way to get to the Caribe Tours depot is by taxi, and it should cost no more than $30 USD.

Default No Problem

You should not have any problems at that time in the morning. As mentioned above take a taxi to Caribe Tours bus depot in Santo Domingo. The fare has been $30 USD but with recent hikes in fuel cost it might be a little more.

Be sure to have a sweater or light jacket as the A/C can be cold at times.

Enjoy...........

Caribe Tours has buses leaving for Sosua hourly, on the hour, starting at 6 am.

You may not get there in time for that one, but you should be able to get the 7 am bus.

And has been mentioned, be prepared for a cold bus. This can be a problem, especially in the morning, because the sun is not beating down on the bus.
