GBP Cayo Levantado - Playa Rincon

im staying at GBP Cayo Levantado.

Wanting to do a day trip from Cayo Levantado to Playa Rincon.

Obviously I need to catch a boat to the Samana Pier but where do I go from there???

Can I catch a taxi direct to Play Rincon or do I catch one to Las Galeras and grab a boat from there as I've heard the road can be kinda dicey.

I am travelling 2nd week of Feb.

Thanks in advance for any info. Im looking to find out costs and travel times too if anyone knows.

Also still kind of trying to decide between El Limon Waterfall or Rincon but Im leaning towards Rincon because it looks magnificent and I love the beach!

Playa Rincon is a very beautiful beach. Once on land in Samana you can catch a motoconcho to Playa Rincon, a taxi to Playa Rincon. The road is ok, no 4 wheel is neccesay. A word or caution; there is a place called Boca del Diablo which attracts tourists because of the blowholes there. That road is notorious for tourists, even with their taxis, getting held up. But Rincon is a very worthwhile day trip. Enjoy.
