How often do public buses go Higüey/Punta Cana?

From this thread I found this piece of info that basically covered my wondering about public transportation to PC, except for the title of this thread:

What I'm wondering then is, like the title says, how often the buses go and like from which times (for ex. from 8am to 6pm every 15 minutes). Where I want to go in PC is Plaza Palma Real.

Also this info is good for me because I'm a member of a tourist forum and I get that question a lot.

Buses from Santo Domingo to Higuey run every 15 minutes at peak times (8am - 6pm) and every 30 mins in off-peak times (6am - 8am, 6pm-8pm) and vice versa from Higuey to Santo Domingo (first bus leaves at 4.30 am)

From Bavaro to Higuey/and from Higuey to Bavaro, buses run every 15-20 minutes from Friusa bus terminal (Sitrabapu) next to Politur police station. After 10pm, service is around once every hour.

All buses coming to Bavaro from Higuey/Santo Domingo do a "recorrido" around all the hotels. Plaza Palma Real is at the Melia entrance so the bus will drop you off there. You will see a large mall on your right as you approach, so you cannot miss it.
