Driving directions STI to Playa Confresi

I have looked for a post with no avail and I hate to be annoying, but I really need driving directions from STI to Playa Confresi. I fly in next Saturday, any "direction", full pun intended, would be greatly appreciated.
Does anybody have any input on the best place to horseback ride in or around POP? Thanks again for your assistance and I love this Forum! Jason

Why drive? Unless you are going to go gallivanting all along the North Coast there is no need. You can get a taxi to take you to Cofresí, no Problem!!

Directions: Go to Santiago: Follow signs to Puerto Plata: Turn right at the intersection in Navarrete. Watch for Cofresí signs after you pass the small monument on your left and the garbage dump on your rights. The entrance is on your left.
