Getting from Santo Domingo Airport to Punta Cana
I have a wedding guest who is flying in from Madrid, Spain to the Santo Domingo Airport. However, she is staying (with the rest of my guests) at the Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana. I am trying to figure out how she can get from the airport to the resort (and back) safely without spending a ridiculous amount of money.
I understand the bus system is great, but that they only run between city centers and do not go to the airports. She gets in after 5:00 PM, and I'm not sure the buses run that late anyway.
I've had suggestions to look for a cheap flight between SD and PUJ, but I don't know what airline to try. So far I've had no luck. Any suggestions?
