PUJ airport to Occidental Grand via Taxi

Hi,
Could anyone tell me how much it will cost to go from PUJ the Occidental Grand? I've heard prices from $16-35!! That's a large range of prices! Anyone know for sure???

And are the taxis safe? I heard on travel.gov that there have been robberies on taxis reported.

You may not be aware but right now gas in the DR is around $6/gallon. That being said, I havent found too much of an increase in transportation costs there.

Now try taking a cab from any North American airport and see how much you will be charged.

I know as tourists it feels good to get a deal but remember these people are trying to make a living too.

More like 30 minutes away and that is the listed price with IbKServices
