Flight, private car, or taxi from SDQ to PUJ

Hello,
We're traveling to DR later this month and we're flying into SDQ. We need to get to Punta Cana for our hotel and saw the most recent thread about the bus. It appears that we 'may or may not' make it on the bus and would rather not chance it. We'd like to spend as little as possible (obviously) and get a confirmed reservation for the trip from SDQ to PUJ. Any information on any (1)flights/carriers, (2) taxis, or (3)reputable private car service and COSTS from SDQ to PUJ would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This company Regular Flights has flights from sdq to puj departing at 10:00 AM and 5:15 PM for $99.00 US pp one way. It appears that the afternoon flight stops at El Portillo airport near Las Terrenas en route.

A taxi would probably cost that much or more, but if there are several of you it could prove to be more cost effecient. It's about a 3 hour drive as opposed to a 45 minute direct flight in the morning and 1:10 with the stop in the afternoon. Keep in mind also that if you take the domestic flight, you will still need a cab to your hotel after arriving at puj.

Thanks! It will be 2 of us traveling. Any idea on how much the taxi from PUJ to the hotel (Edenh) will be? Also, any idea on the current rate of taxis from SDQ-PUJ? I heard that they increased 30% recently. Should we expect to pay $100US, $200US, less, or more for the taxi to the hotel?
