Question Punta Cana to SF de Macoris??

hi again, my fellow dr1ers!

I have another question for you - what would be the fastes/cheapest way to get from PUJ to SF de Macoris? I did some searching in older posts, and the only thing i found was one that said you have to go to santo domingo and then take a bus to SF de M, and that it supposedly takes 7-8 hours... Is that really the only way??

thnx in advance

Figure about 4 hours to get to Santo Domingo, and then the drive (Caribe Tours bus is an option) to San Francisco, about 2 hours (say 6 to 7 hours with any waits). The shortest way would be to fly into El Catey (AZB) airport by private plane, and then take a cab to San Francisco. Very pricey, but would be about 2 hours travel time, including waiting time.
