Can anyone help me with differant ways of getting from Santiago - Boca Chica. There are 3 of us and we don't want to use the bus.. The faster the better

I bet you could get a public car (instead of an actual taxi) and make a deal with him for $120 US, $40 each.
He could get you there in 3 hours.

I guess we could just ask around when we get there for a driver..

Assuming you do not speak much Spanish, you could ask someone at your hotel, if he could find a driver to do it for 100 bux.
As all prices have to get bumped up a bit, in the end, you settle on $120.
Should work fairly easily.

You can Email apolotemi@hotmail.com this is a local taxi from Santiago. The rate will be same is for Dominicans custumers,cheaper than the rate for " Gringos ".

Or
Emi Taxi...always check rates..It is a three hour ride, maybe 2 1/2 if trffic is good.
