Default Sousa to Luperon

I like to move around on a holiday so am planning to spend a few nights in sousa then move up the coast to luperon. How easy will that be to do on public transport.

Alteranatively how expensive would it be by taxi

FYI ill be arriving in sousa 17 th December

If you're paying for a taxi from Sosua to Luperon for $100, you're getting gouged!

100$ does not seem high at all for a private taxi, Luperon is out of the way.

If you go the public route, you will need to get off in Imbert at the intersection (At the TEXACO bomba) to switch.

from sosua you need to catch either taxi or motor to get to puerto plata.. from pto plata you take carro concho and get off at imbert. After you get off at imbert, on your right will be the carro conchos going to Luperon ($40-50 pesos).

You could take the guagua to Puerto Plata to the "Javila" parada. From there, take the bus to Imbert (40 pesos) and then hop in a carro on the right side to Luperon.

If you dont have much luggage, its not worth paying for a taxi.
