Default Where is Salcedo?

Can someone provide general driving directions from Santo Domingo to Salcedo (I think it's spelled that way)? I understand it's fairly close to Santiago. Thanks!

You need to drive toward Santiago then turn off toward Moca and proceed east from there. I know how to get there but it is a little difficult to explain.

Take Principal Highway 1 north to Santiago, then Secondary Highway 14 east, then south on Highway 21 to Mocha, then Highway 132 east to Salcedo.

PM me with your email address and I will send you a pretty good map that I use.

Good luck !!!

Just as easy:
Santo Domingo-> San Francisco de Macorís-> Tenares-> Salcedo

Basically, Salcedo sits astride the highway that goes from Nagua to Santiago....
You can get there lots of ways.
For example, you could take the new highway (toll road) to Nagua, turn west and get there.
You can go to La Vega, turn North through Las Yerbas and get there.

Nice little town...

I went to a concert (Wellington) at a tipico in Salcedo and returned a couple of times afterwards. I usually travel thru Moca to get there, not so easy for a newb. A nice little town i remember.
