Roundtrip in DR
Hi,
we (the four of us) are planning a roundtrip in the DR.
We will have 2 weeks for the trip. (starting 10. Mar)
We will drop off in Punta Cana, planning to rent a car then heading to Bayahibe to spend the first few nights there. Maybe daily trips to Sanoa and Santo Domingo.
The rest of the plan is not yet clarified. Candidates are Las Terrenas (and the whole Samana), Jarabacoa, Sosua and their surroundings and back to PC at the end.
We would like to continue to Samana in order to catch the whales.
1) Isn't it too late?
2) Could you please advice which routes to take? Where to spend more time? Where no to?
3) Driving time:
PC-Bayahibe?
Bayahibe-Samana? Do we need to go through SD to get to the new highway?
Jarabacoa-Punta Cana?
4) Is it really that big challenge to manage these spots above by rented car?
