Is taking the new toll road back to Santo Domingo and then heading east toward La Romana the best way to get from Samana to the Bayahibe area? We will have a rental car, not a jeep or a truck. Thank you for your replies.
Yes, this is undoubtedly the quickest route. Note the road takes you to the Las Americas highway east of Santo Domingo so you do not have to cross the city.
