Caribe vs. Metro?

Hello Everyone,

I'm going to be doing an overnight in Santo Domingo next week and staying at the Occidental El Embajador hotel. Can anyone tell me which bus line - Metro or Caribe - stops closer? I'm not familiar with SD and the less fooling about with taxis or motos I have to do the better.

As well, would you recommend taking a taxi from the bus station to the hotel, or is it close enough to jump on a moto? And prices for taxi / moto?

Metro is closer to El Embajador than Caribe Tours.
The cost of a taxi ride will be RD$125 to 150....You can argue a little if your Spanish is good enough.

Not more than a 10 minute ride even in traffic...
