Easter Week

Does anyone know when Holy week will start in 2002? I am planning a vacation in March to Punta Cana and I would like to do some tours, but need to plan them before Holy week. What sports and tours are closed during this time? Thanks for your help!!!

Holy week would start on Good Friday and continue until Easter Monday this is the most high traffic.....as for which watersports are banned.....jet-skis, Bannana rides, stuff like this because the waters are so full with Native Dominicans enjoying the Holiday.....Some people will call it Hell week...because of the crowding at all the beaches!!!! But I'm sure you"ll have a load of fun!!!!

Will tours such as the Jungle Safari be running that week? And would it be a good idea to do that tour right away at the beginning of the week? (I get there on Sunday afternoon on March 24).

Get your water sports and resort activities done BEFORE Easter, try to stay off the roads during Easter also, everyone is 3.3 plus
