I can give you some great advice about having an awesome time at the Melia Caribe Tropical, let me know, I can email you directly. We stayed on the Tropical side both times, building 9. Great location. The building is between both pools. When are you going to the D.R., I'm trying to plan my next trip there as soon as possible :-)
