Do we need to have a passport to holiday in DR ? We are Canadians.

no. you can enter with your oringinal birth certificate and a photo id.[ drivers license.]when you travel it is always best to have a passport. also when you leave the dr. you will need 10 dollars us. in cash ,no checks,or visa, have a good trip.
