www.debbiesdominicantravel.com has some good wedding information along with some reviews by people who got married at various resorts in the DR.

Bavaro Beach Resort has a beautiful little chappel Weddings going on every day. Your travel agent should be able to help with all the details. Friends of ours are getting married there in April. You can not go wrong with this resort. we are going back again next month for the 4th time.It is 5 resorts all in 1. The Beach, the Garden , the Golf, the Casino, and the Palace. In all there are about 15 restaurants, 5 pools ,5 threatres, disco, golf, mini golf. casino, and even a ranch. Check it out in tour book.

Hi,

Do not stay at the Punta Cana Beach Resort. Their bungalows are not even weatherproof (3 inch gaps between the walls and the roof in the bathrooms, which led to a nonstop mosquito problem). The one I stayed at (#4341) did not have a curtain to cover the huge window that covered the wall by the shower. And the staff made a point of not bringing a curtain once I requested it. Very few stayed there during my visit.

Several people with horrible birth defects constantly beg at the huge church in nearby Higuey. The church itself is made of concrete, many found it to have an ugly exterior. Immediately across the street from the church are 5-6 interesting tourist shops.

Have a great trip...................

Most of the hotel are able to organize this. Please ask your travel agent or check the homepages of all the resorts!
