Default Taxi, PC to Sosua

I need info on taxi/bus service from Punta Cana Airport to Sosua. How long does it take, approx cost, and contact info. Yes, I know that Air Santo Domingo is fast and cheap, and I have used them before with great satisfaction....but these particular circumstances need the info that I am requesting........it needs to be available from there at around 7:30 PM at night.....thanks.

My best advice is to spend that night in a hotel in PC and leave next morning to Sosua. Air Santo Domingo is your best choice.
but you can take a taxi that will cost you a fortune (more than 150dlls) and 7 to 8 hours drive.

You are right, thanks. I was quoted 7.5 hours and US $260!! I figured such but just wanted to ask. I'm sure I could find a lower price, but that long drive is out of the question, especially at night. (not seeing anything). Is there anywhere (half descent) close to the airport in PC to just stay overnight ? Seems like it's out in the middle of "nowhere"). I'm only familiar with the resorts which are 30 - 45 min away.

I don't know Rick, but it seems, at those prices that they have you by the shorties.....

My gut feeling is that there must be a place that caters to Dominican salesmen, suppliers and such, but I think you would have to know the lingo to manage that, perhaps not.

On the other hand, do you HAVE to fly into PC??? There are other options, hopefully.
