Looks like a cool place with lots to do. Any easy way to combine this place with a stay in Puerto Plata? Looks like quite a drive. Anyone tried to fly into one airport and out of another...Miami home airport. Thanks for all the suggestions re. my white knuckle trip post a few weeks ago. You guys are great!!!

I flew into SDQ. After seeing the North Coast I decided to fly home ( JFK ) from POP. My calls to int'l TWA reservations failed ( with message in espanol of course ). So I found the number of TWA in Santiago where luckily I was in touch with an agent who spoke English. I had to bus to Santiago where I was issued a paper ticket ( I originally had electronic ) for $75 US.
Lesson: Do the work ahead of time while in the US. I think they're called "open jaws".
