Question Transportation....
Other than by cab. What is the best way to get from Santiago to Punta Cana and what is the cost?
I've been told Metro Bus to Santo Domingo and then another bus company to Punta Cana, but no one seems to know what that company name is.
Also if a change is necessary in the Capital, do I need to take a cab?

You might want to check the archives, as this has been discussed at length in the not to distant past. The bus companies are Caribe Tours, and Metro.

I know Caribe Tours and Metro Tours Travel from Santiago to La Capital, but I don't believe that they travel to Punta Cana. I looked at the archives up until sept and was not able to find any info.

I think I'd go to POP airport and take a plane for about RD$1,300 R/T....
You will have no backside after that ride.

Well I only need a one way. Is that on Air Santo Domingo? I assume they don't fly from Santiago.
