Default Golf - South/East Coast

Hi, My parents are golf nuts. We're in the DR for the first week in July at Casa De Campo. I just found out that the entire 'Teeth of the Dog' course will be closed! They mentioned that the 'Links' would be open. I'm wondering if anyone has played the Links course, or any other course nearby that they can recommend? I want to make sure my parents get some fun too

Thanks!
KJ

Default Picked the wrong place

Change your plans and go to Bavaro. there are three very good courses there now. The links is a so-so course.
Or change coasts completely and really play golf at Playa Grande!! The BEST course in the country and far, far more magnificient than Teeth of the Puppy.....

Not kiddin' either..

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion
I don't think we're going to change plans tho. My sister's bfriend is from DR and his family lives on the southern part of the island. Plus, I rechecked and it looks like 9 holes will be open on both courses. So it should be fine for the 'rents. I think we'll have a good time ... we'll see I guess!
