Riu Merengue Hotel, North Coast

I am getting married at the Riu Merengue Hotel (North side of the island) on 21st October 2002 and would appreciate any information about the hotel, the area, wedding services (if people have been married there before) and anything else people want to tell me, whether it be good or bad!!!!! Comments gratefully received, love to hear from people soon.

There are 3 sister hotels all together in this complex. They are the rio Merenque, Rio Mambo and Rio Bachata. They are all very nice and you should be happy there. The hotels are out of the city and are a 5 minute (about 3 miles) from the center of Puerto Plata.
