I had a great day...my middle son Mike took me to the Indy Racing League race at Pikes Peak International Raceway, just South of Colorado Springs. Had garage passes and all coutesy of Penske Racing. Got to see them practice, prepare the cars and then race. Penske cars took 1&2. Gil de Ferren won, helio Castoneves second, Sam Hornish of the Pennzoil team third. Not quite as exciting as NASCAR or F1 but had a good time being with my son and seeing a couple of old acquaintances, AJ foyt and Al Unser Jr. A totally great day.
