Paradise Beach Puerta Plata Questions...

Hola.
My friend and I are planning a trip to Paradise in Puerta Plata on Aug 3rd, just wondering if anyone has any info.
Anything at all would be appreciated. Looking forward to visiting DR again but went to Punta Cana last year.
We want to party and have a great time, we are both single and in our early 30's, does anyone know if this is the place to go?

I have been there twice this year and once 6 years ago. I love Paradise and the people that work there are great. I have a friend who is like a brother to me that works on the animation team. All the animators and staff are extremely friendly and outgoing. Crazy Moon disco is a blast but be prepared to be hit on, a lot. Enjoy and have the time of your life. Definately Paradise and its disco Crazy Moon are great - if they are open!!!!
We have stayed at Playa Dorada complex from June 12 thru 19 and both, the hotel and its disco, were closed. A good and dear friend of mine is staying in Puerto Plata right now and she told me that all discos at the Playa Dorada complex are closed, meaning Andromeda at Heaven's and Crazy Moon at Paradise. Only TOPS was open, which iis Playa Naco's nightclub but not really worth going there. You might try to party at Hemingway's located in the Playa Dorada plaza. It's always been great, superb food, good atmosphere and people from allover the globe. Supposedly it's slowed down though, too.
Talking about the hotel in general, I hope they will be open again when you are planning to travel at the beginning of August!
Well, animation... great thing to talk about... The only thing I know about the staff there is that a guy called Benji is the boss and he really sucks! If there is still one named Steve - he is a real sweetheart but normally under Benji's bad influence. Well, that's not the thread for things like this, just my personal opinion and certainly not the only one in the world....
