Inside the complex of Viva Dominicus near Bayahibe there are some small 2 bdrm bungalow's for rent. They are not on the beach and are likely privately owned. I was there in March, had all the info. but lost it. They were just starting the construction of a pool. This complex is next door to the new Iberostar resort.
