Hi, Just read the DR1 advice on currency where it mentions €uros should be circulating freely like $US. Is this the case or should I bring $US. I'm coming from France. I assume there will be cash machines in Cabarete.

There are cash machines in Cabarete. Euros are exchanged. You may get a slightly better rate for dollars, but if it costs you to get dollars, then bring your Euros.
