Sugar....you have never seen 'these' 3 Canadian chicks and trust me....we get noticed! Other that that comment...we loved your reply.

As far as the double standard goes....let them think what they want.....we like to party and have fun and love us or hate us...we will do what we want. That being said...it's not a slut fest we are planning...it's just 3 best friends out for the trip of a life time. So it's all good!

And for the record…if we do get action – the motto is “no glove no love”….we’re not stupid and AIDS is a threat in Canada and none of us EVER play Russian roulette with our health.

Unfortunately we won't be there until after the new year. We are booking the trip in December and just starting our research. So Rafael, we will have to take a rain cheque on you offer of taking us out one night.

Loved the question about the stripper names!! LOL! We prefer to call them our "Bar Star" names...hehe...true story...one of our names is Pearl, and on more then one occasion our little hottie Pearl meets a new boy at a club and she tells him her name....she has been told off because the guy thinks she is giving him a 'fake' name....so one tequila night in we decided to empathize with Pearl and introduced our selves all night at Sapphire and Diamond...it was a blast. Sorry boys...but some of you are REALLY gullible! And hence the names have lasted!

We have no intention of being something we are not….and we will not be played buy ANY guy in ANY part of the world. All we are looking for is a fun time, and if we meet some fun people and hang out with them along the way that is cool – but not expected. What exactly are you trying to say about the whole $$$ thing? We don’t ‘put out’ just because some guy pays for dinner and we hope you don’t either. And we are not stupid, we will not be getting in a car with ‘some guy’ (safety first) and if anyone shares a taxi with us…they are sharing the cost of it too. But thanks all the same.

I was tapping into AZB vast knowledge and asking him the sankie question! So, I wasn't trying to say anything catty in regard to the three of you or him for that matter! I was just asking a question that has me a little confused about the whole sankie theory floating around

Nobody has said ( several times now) that anyone will be pulling out their wallet, paying for ANYTHING and then expecting something. They have no wallet. They have no money. They pay for no drinks, food, taxis. You do. Continually. Or they won't be hanging with you at all.

And as I suspect you speak zero Spanish you will have a communication issue, so if you are going in January, learn some over the next 4 months. If you are fluent or functional now, great.

BTW, if you don't know what Sankies are at all they are men who sleep with women for money directly or through the night of hunka hunka burning love merengue dancing that you fund.

Many men go to DR looking for women who do the same thing. Either sex wants to pay for fun, it's their business not ours so they do, they do. Still they don't go down and date a lot of women or dance etc., without knowing they are paying 100% or buying gifts or paying cash , it is not free.

So whats worng with paying the way of someone if your enjoying yourself?! When I was on vaca here and didn't know anyone, also with my American dollars. I enjoyed having someone to show me around and to hangout with. You don't have to give up the "nookie" or buy gifts. Don't let them in your room. Just enjoy the company and have fun! Your only on vacation. You don't have time to look for that one special person. So enjoy yourself...just be careful!

Thank you Rick for backing up what I was trying to express......sure, share a cab! Then when the time comes to ante up, forget it! Order drinks, and when the tab needs to be paid - good luck.

Definitely learn some Spanish if you can. Leave the resort and explore.....but just be careful. I find that wearing those all inclusive bracelets make you even more of a target. I do not wear mine outside the resort to help minimize harrassers.

The men are really hot, and can go all night, but be extremely selective. Havea blast - I always do! And you will want to go back again and again.

On the pay to play thing, do whatever turns your crank, I say, but the previous message from the authors seemed to me that they didn't quite understand the overall picture and nobody was remotely suggesting they'd be wined and dined. Since that takes money.

I really recommend they avoid English speakers since very one I've encountered so far, the generic "tigre" population is even more ambitious towards your wallet than amateurs. That said getting by sans the language makes offense and defence equally tough.
