Saphire and Pearl, I apologize if my 3 Canadian chicks comment might have been misunderstood. I have never met any of you and you could all be super models for all I know, so I was not trying to insult you at all.
What I meant was, most guys that are in the DR, are attracted to the "exoticness" of DR women etc.
It's sort of like my buddy taking his GF to Rio and her asking why in the world did you take sand to the beach;-)
On my last trip, there was a very beautiful model on the fligh. She was going down for a photo shoot. She was incredibly gorgeous, and every Dominican guy on the plane was drooling and trying to hit on her etc.
Me? Wouldn't have noticed except for the attention being heaped on her by the Dominican guys.
My point, once I'm in the frame of mind of visiting the DR, the last thing on my mind is Canadian, American, European etc etc etc women. Just as I'm sure when you head down, you'd probably prefer partying and meeting local guys over Canadian or American guys. Heck, if ya wanted to meet them you could stay home! So that was the point I was trying to make. Sorry I did a bad job of it.
I'm sure you'll have a great time down there, and since I have an apartment down there it is not unlikely I'll also be there during your trip. If ya wind up in SD, and ya don't speak spanish etc, my offer of showing you around with my Girlfriend still stands. If ya don't speak spanish, she is great at helping ya "break the ice" with the locals etc!
