Local Exchange house in Puerto Plata was offering RD $18.92 yesterday (Tuesday). I would think that most (commercial) places would offer 18.5 or better!! Hotels will probably only be offering RD $18.00 - Grahame.

Lightbulb Just returned yesterday - cambio rate in BC was 19.10
It was 18.60 10 days earlier and went up 50 in the time I was there.
