suggestions in Punta Cana

Hi!

Two friends and myself are heading off to the DR in a few weeks. None of us have been there before, and we are looking for some fun things to do. When we first started looking at the DR, we found some information on scuba diving, horseback in the mountains, cascading, and whale watching. Well, after looking into airfare, we found that it was cheaper to book through a vacation package. So we did. We will be staying at the Occidental Grand Flamenco in Punta Cana. However, I don't see that many of these same great adventures are offered. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we should go about doing these? Should we find someone once we get there, or try to book prior to going? Is the area safe for 3 women?

There are usually tour reps in the resorts for some of the adventures you seek and plenty of information and help available. Don't worry, the adventures will find you, ....and the area is safe for three women. The question is: will the area be safe from three women? Regards PJT

I got in November 2002 at the Occidental Allegro, sister hotel to the Flamenco.
Trips should be the same. Enjoy your visit.
