Rachael,

Speak with a Riu Bachata employee (maybe at the front desk); I am pretty sure there are guaguas that travel from Luperon to POP and probably let you off at the Central Park to connect with the POP - Sosua/Cabarete guaguas. They might not be as frequent on the west side of POP however.

Today in Ottawa, Canada it's -33C and my Dominican husband is quickly coming to realize that Canadian winters is hell!
