Mid September :- Weather & Are Kids Back In School Then ???

Hi, Mid September me and the husband are going to Melia Caribe Tropical for 2 weeks.

We are arriving on 16th September.

Just wondering, will many children be at the resort or will they be back in school ???

Not got anything against children obviously, just wondering if it will be full of kids or will it be quite and romantic for me and the hubby.

And, has anyone got any experience of travelling to Punta Cana in September on a regular basis. If so, have you experienced lots of rain or lots of sun or a mixture.
