I ran across two good general books on living abroad that I thought would be helpful for people considering moving to the DR or anywhere. (I also love the titles!) They answer many of the repeated questions we get on DR1. I found my copies in my local library. They are--
"The Grown-Up's Guide to Running Away from Home" and "The Grown-Up's Guide to Retiring Abroad" by Rosannne Knorr.
Thank God she doesn't talk about the DR specifically (so the cat is not out of the bag yet
), but all of the info does apply.
