Anyone interested in international sports and cultural event, see Los Juegos del Mundo - to be held in Montreal, in July 2004.
This is a prestigious festival sanctioned by the IOC and UNESCO.
It is where the people get together to play some games and

Default Is the DR sending a delegation?

Shoud've mentioned: If anyone knows a DR Sports federation that practices a traditional sport in the DR, maybe they would be interested to participate and send a delegation to Los Juegos del Mundo, next July, in Montreal. This is a great opportunity to showcase the DR, its traditions and culture. A delegation can include up to 10 people. The DR sports group has to pay for the airfare and Canada will cover the costs of food, room and board for the 10 days they will be in Montreal. If anyone is interested, they should go to the web site, fill-in the necessary application and send it in. September is the deadline to submit a candidacy.
Come and meet the world, in Montreal, from July 28 to August 8, 2004. We expect around 50 countries and more than 1 000 participants. Hasta luego!!

Default montreal games

Why not go as DR1 "baiting" club.

10 days of canadian hospitality free!

seems fair for the amount of advice, sniping, and trapping that we all engage in lovingly.
